The Aquanello Eterna thermostatic in-wall shower set in matte black (ET-S-SET2-2-10 ) is a complete shower solution featuring a generous Ø250 mm rain showerhead. The set combines a thermostatic in-wall faucet with two separate shut-off valves, a round overhead showerhead with a ceiling connection, and a slim handheld showerhead.
The visible metal parts are made of high-quality stainless steel and feature a special multi-layer surface treatment. The stainless steel first receives a strong chrome undercoat, followed by a high-quality matte black coating.
This combination ensures an exceptionally strong and durable finish with very high scratch and wear resistance. The deep matte black finish has virtually no glare and gives the entire shower set a bold, modern, and architectural look.
Thermostatic concealed shower set with 2 shut-off valves
At the heart of the ET-S-SET2-2-10 is a thermostatic in-wall faucet. This allows you to set the desired water temperature and maintain it as consistently as possible while showering.
In addition to the thermostatic temperature control, this model features two separate shut-off valves. As a result, each shower function has its own control for turning the water flow on and off.
The two shower functions are:
- Rain shower / overhead shower
- Handheld shower
Two separate shut-off valves
In this model, the overhead shower and handheld shower are not controlled by a single central diverter.
Both shower functions have their own shut-off valve. This allows the rain shower and handheld shower to be turned on and off separately.
This modular control system ensures intuitive operation and gives the shower enclosure a luxurious and minimalist look.
Generous rain shower head (Ø250 mm)
The ET-S-SET2-2-10 stands out thanks to its larger round rain shower with a diameter of 250 mm.
Compared to the 200 mm version, this 25 cm overhead shower offers a larger showering area. As a result, the water is distributed over a wider surface, providing a spacious rain shower experience.
The flat, round shape complements the cylindrical control elements and other components of the Aquanello Eterna series perfectly.
Rain Shower with Ceiling Connection
The overhead shower is mounted directly from the ceiling. This eliminates the need for a shower arm extending from the wall.
The rain shower can be positioned centrally above the shower area, allowing the water to fall comfortably from above and creating a serene, luxurious shower experience.
Ceiling mounting is particularly well-suited for modern walk-in showers where as little visible hardware on the wall as possible is desired.
Slim-profile hand shower
In addition to the spacious overhead shower, the set includes a slim-profile handheld shower. Its cylindrical shape blends seamlessly with the minimalist design of the other Eterna components.
The hand shower offers extra flexibility for, among other things:
- Targeted rinsing
- Washing hair
- Cleaning the shower
- Showering without using the overhead shower
Hand shower set without a shower rail
This model comes without a slide bar. The hand shower is combined with a compact wall-mounted unit and a shower hose.
This keeps the number of visible parts to a minimum, creating a particularly sleek and minimalist shower look.
Stainless steel base with a durable chrome-plated undercoat
In the matte black ET-S-SET2-2-10, stainless steel serves as the base material for the visible metal components.
Before the black finish is applied, the stainless steel receives a strong chrome-plated undercoat. This layer forms a hard and even base to which the matte black coating adheres exceptionally well.
This creates a robust, multi-layered surface structure that is ideally suited for daily use in the bathroom.
Exceptionally durable matte black coating
A high-quality matte black coating is applied over the chrome-plated undercoat.
The combination of the stainless steel base material, the strong chrome undercoat, and the black topcoat ensures an exceptionally strong, wear-resistant, and highly scratch-resistant finish.
This makes the ET-S-SET2-2-10 ideal for intensive daily shower use.
Not a PVD finish
The matte black finish is not a PVD finish.
The surface composition consists of:
- Stainless steel base material
- Strong chrome-plated base layer
- High-quality matte black topcoat
This construction combines a deep matte black appearance with very high resistance to scratches and wear during normal daily use.
Advantages of the matte black finish
- Stainless steel base material: strong and durable foundation
- Chrome-plated base layer: a hard and even base for the black coating
- Very high scratch resistance: suitable for intensive daily use
- Very high wear resistance: robust multi-layer surface structure
- Strong adhesion: the black coating adheres firmly to the prepared undercoat
- Deep matte black: modern look without strong glare
To maintain the matte black finish, we recommend cleaning the shower components with a soft cloth and a mild detergent. Avoid abrasive sponges and harsh, highly acidic, or alkaline cleaning agents.
Thermostatic shower comfort
The thermostatic control provides extra comfort while showering. Once the desired temperature is set, the thermostat automatically adjusts the ratio of hot to cold water to keep the set temperature as stable as possible.
This eliminates the need to manually adjust the temperature repeatedly.
Most of the technology is hidden behind the wall
With this built-in shower set, the technical faucet components are largely mounted behind the wall.
On the visible side, only the thermostatic control, both shut-off valves, the hand shower set, and the overhead shower remain visible.
This offers several advantages:
- Minimalist wall appearance: few visible technical components
- More space to move: no large surface-mounted faucet on the wall
- Sleek appearance: ideal for modern walk-in showers
- Intuitive operation: each shower function has its own shut-off valve
Minimalist Eterna design
The Aquanello Eterna series is characterized by rounded shapes, sleek proportions, and minimalist details.
In the ET-S-SET2-2-10, the thermostat control, both shut-off valves, the generously sized round overhead shower, ceiling connection, and sleek hand shower are perfectly coordinated.
The deep matte black finish pairs exceptionally well with materials such as:
- Travertine
- Marble
- Natural stone
- Concrete-look
- Wood and wood-look
- Light Ceramic
